CAMELIA is the first painting in the Mother Earth series about the struggle with preserving and restoring the environment. The female image is symbolic of Mother Earth and each plant, insect, and animal has its own symbolism related to the natural cycles of death and decay, growth and rebirth, what is naturally occurring and what is unnaturally occurring in the environment. In this painting Mother Earth is essentially gagged and oppressed but she still speaks through the symbolism of the white Camelia, a symbol of maternal love.
I love this tote! It is large (16” tall, 13” wide, 3” deep), and it’s made of thick, durable 100% polyester canvas. The image colors are rich and vibrant, making a very unique gift for yourself or someone you love. Bags are lined with 100% cotton navy sateen and include brass magnetic closure. Vegan leather straps available in navy, brown, or black.
Hand wash in cold water, hang dry, do not bleach. All tote bags and fabrics are made in-house by a printing company in Montreal, Canada. They manufacture and source fabrics locally to reduce carbon footprint, excess fabrics are donated to inner-city shelters and employees are paid a fair wage.
