AUTUMN PORTRAIT Journals

AUTUMN PORTRAIT is the personification of autumn from the Season Portraits series. Her facial features are created out of the natural elements from that season. Autumn is a season of transformation and intuition, as nature prepares for winter. The leaves of deciduous trees pull back their chlorophyll causing the leaves to change from green to fiery hues. Monarchs make their way back home and forest animals busily save for winter. A wealthy variety of foods are harvested in autumn, foods we associate with comfort and community. A time to relish in the vibrant colors of nature, warmth of home, and time with those we love. We cherish the aliveness of autumn, as the night grows equal to the day. Soon winter will come, and all will go to sleep.

The first page of each journal contains a symbolic image from nature from the painting accompanied by inspirational words. The back of the journal has a description of the artwork on the cover. These hand-bound journals have 48 pages, are 7.5x10 inches, have a velvet ultra matt cover with 70 lb creamy white acid-free paper inside. You can choose plain, rules, graph, or bullet paper.
