Hi, I’m Valerie and I'm a painter. I make paintings about our relationship and identity with nature. I live in Austin, Texas with my family where I spend as much time as I can exploring nature and finding ideas for my art. Nature is where I feel most at peace, most inspired, and most alive. As an art educator, I'm passionate about guiding my students to a deeper connection with nature through art.
