Autumn is a season of transformation and intuition, as nature prepares for winter. The leaves of deciduous trees pull back their chlorophyll causing the leaves to change from green to fiery hues. Monarchs make their way back home and forest animals busily save for winter. A wealthy variety of foods are harvested in autumn, foods we associate with comfort and community. A time to relish in the vibrant colors of nature, warmth of home, and time with those we love. We cherish the aliveness of autumn, as the night grows equal to the day. Soon winter will come, and all will go to sleep.
