MAGNOLIA is the third painting in the Mother Earth series. Magnolias have been around for over 100 million years. White magnolias symbolize nobility, perseverance, and love of nature. Pink magnolias symbolize joy, the feminine, and love. I included bats because they are very social creatures, attentive mothers, and symbolize rebirth and death. They are considered to emerge from the belly of Mother Earth. The forests burn on her back causing her pain and heartache. The doves are messengers sent by her and she is full of the ocean teeming with life.

Made from 100% cotton sateen and custom printed with permanent fade-resistant reactive inks. Don’t be afraid to hang them in a busy space as cotton sateen is strong and durable and can be washed without the risk of fading.
