I'm Valerie and I'm a visual artist and art educator and I create virtual self-paced Art courses to help secondary students develop their art and design skills. I'm also passionate about nature and I create courses that get students out exploring in nature and making art.
I have a Bachelor's in Painting, and Master's in Art Education. I'm certified to teach Art and Art History to secondary students in Texas and I have 10 years experience teaching Art.
I offer online courses for middle and high school students on the Outschool platform.

In this SELF-PACED class we'll create a mixed media collage with drawing, painting, writing, and gluing words and images.
The purpose of a Vision Board is to plan out and visualize very specifically what we want to happen in the coming year or months.
In this Vision Board there’s a twist! We’ll be including a simple self-portrait to really personalize our vision for the new year.
