BELLA NATURA original watercolors is a series about the beauty of the Italian landscape. Here are the watercolor studies from this series which I ultimately will turn into oil paintings for my Bella Terra series.
If you know me, you know of my love for Italy. My ancestry is Italian and I feel in my blood and in my bones that this is where my love for art comes from.
While I wait to return and explore that varied landscape, I know it's being affected by climate change. So, I also express in this series, the sadness, the delight, and the longing to return to bella Italia.
