Here you’ll find prints of my watercolor series, Vocabolario Della Terra, a way to study the beautiful nature in Italy and also learn beautiful Italian words!

Although I’m Italian American, I grew up in Texas so I learned Spanish. I think Spanish is a beautiful language too but I always wanted to learn the language of my heritage.

I studied Art in Italy in college and I returned with my husband and our two sons 22 years later. We spent 9 weeks in Italy and it made me fall in love with the language even more. I finally started to study Italian in my 40’s. Thankfully it’s a lot like Spanish! 

Learning Italian is pure joy! I decided to combine the words with art so I created a watercolor series inspired by the food and nature in Italy and include the word for each image in Italian.
